CRM: Send customer emails from your database or data warehouse

Send customer emails from your data in just 15 minutes

Sending customer emails from your database or data warehouse by writing SQL queries is easy with LogicLoop. You can automatically schedule your emails to send every hour, every day, every week, and everything in between. LogicLoop's collaborate UI dashboard is intuitive and any business analyst who knows SQL can set up customer email sequences quickly without needing an engineer.

Use cases

There are plenty of reasons you may be interested in setting up a customer outreach sequence based on your data. Some of the most popular use cases include:

  • Set up an onboarding workflow e.g. select all new users who have not yet activated on your platform and send them an email to nudge them to complete onboarding
  • Collect more information e.g. select all new users who have not provided their delivery address and send them an email requesting more information
  • Increase customer engagement e.g. select all users who have not signed in recently and send them a coupon incentivizing them to re-engage

Step 1: connect your data source

The first step is to connect your data source. We also support popular databases like Postgres, MySQL, AWS RDS, or a data warehouse like Redshift, Big Query, Snowflake or you can even grab data from APIs like Stripe, Slack, and Twilio. All you have to do is to go under the data sources tab in your LogicLoop dashboard and enter your database credentials.

Step 2: describe your customer segment

The next step is to write your SQL query to describe the customer segment you want to target. You can go into your LogicLoop dashboard and add a new rule. Select your data source and you will see the relevant tables and columns you can query. The SQL query can be written to capture the logic you need to express which customers you want to outreach to. Run your SQL query and you will see the results show up on the bottom.

Step 3: trigger your emails

Next, you can have your SQL query trigger emails as an action. You can set up your action to trigger once per row returned, or once on the entire result set. You can also turn on deduplication if you do not want to re-send an email to a customer you've reached out to before. LogicLoop is very flexible and you can send your email natively from your own domain using our platform, or we can also integrate with email services you already use like Mailchimp, Sendgrid, Amazon SES and more. You can transform and inject the data from your SQL query into your email so each customer receives a personalized email. LogicLoop also records the history of all actions taken on the platform so you can see a log of every time the SQL query ran and sent an email.

You can also use HTML to customize the look and feel of the email you send. Here's an example of what an onboarding email sent to a customer from LogicLoop could look like.
